Meyer Sound Germany has been renamed Meyer Sound Europe, managing all Meyer Sound sales in Europe as well as the CIS, Middle East and Africa.
Meyer Sound Europe (MSE) is led by Wolfgang Leute, managing director, Meyer Sound Europe, assuming direct responsibility for sales and support activities throughout Europe as well as across the Middle East and Africa.
Leute has worked for Meyer Sound since 2016, with more than thirty years’ of experience in pro-audio including sales and distribution management positions with Shure and beyerdynamic.
MSE will continue as the exclusive distributor for Meyer Sound products in Germany and most of Scandinavia, but will work wit the company’s existing network of national distributors elsewhere.
John McMahon, senior vice president, Meyer Sound, commented: “During the pandemic we learned the importance of timely, direct and personal communication with our distributors, dealers and customers.
“Zoom and similar technologies changed the way we communicated, but time zone differentials remained a hinderance. This regional realignment will make sales communications more immediate and direct, cutting response times, improving efficiency and building personal relationships.”
