SoundTube offers wireless amplification solution

SoundTube Entertainment has introduced the WLL-TR-1p wireless transmitter/receiver package that provides 50 watts per channel of amplification.

It is designed to work with most SoundTube speakers, as well as other speakers, and enables the placement of speakers in locations where running speaker wires may be difficult or impossible.

The system utilises uncompressed wireless streaming digital audio over 2.4 GHz and requires ACpower for operation to provide two channels of audio with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Audio input to the transmitter may be made via USB, stereo mini or ¼” balanced connectors; speakers are connected to the receiver via EuroBlockor ¼” connectors.  A local audio source on the receiver (which mutes the wireless signal when connected) may be applied via a stereo mini connector.  A high/low power selector switch allows the user to limit the RF range of the transmitter where needed; three RF channels are provided to help ensure interference-free operation. A line level output (stereo mini) is available on both the transmitter and receiver for ADA applications.

Multiple receiver/amplifier units (WLL-RX-1p) may be used with a single transmitter for additional speaker coverage.
