RGBlink has announced that it has joined the HDBaseT Alliance, the cross-industry group tasked with promoting and advancing HDBaseT.
The HDBaseT Alliance was established in 2010 by LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Valens to promote and standardise HDBaseT, which allows distribution of uncompressed ultra-HD multimedia content.
RGBlink supports HDBaseT with not only standalone HDMI/DVI extenders over Ethernet, but also directly integrated into selected RGBlink processors for ease of any signal distribution in integrated environments.
RGBlink is planning to implement HDBaseT into future products including videowall and universal routing processors for larger applications.
