Zoom has updated and expanded its Zoom IQ collaboration tool, with plans to incorporate OpenAI and new features.
Zoom’s ‘federated’ approach to AI relies on its own proprietary AI models as well as those from AI companies such as OpenAI and select customers’ models. These models can be customised to perform better for a customer, based on vocabulary and requirements.
New features will include Zoom IQ chat compose, enabling Zoom Team Chat users to use the compose feature to compose messages based on conversational context, as well as changing message tone to customise suggested responses.
Zoom IQ meeting summary will also be added, generating a summary, capture next steps, and share options via Team Chat, Zoom Calendar and email without recording the conversation. This feature enables users who do not attend to avoid sitting through lengthy recordings.
