Vizrt announces new software-defined products

Vizrt has unveiled four products for production control, workflow and automated systems: the Viz Arc, Viz Verdi and Viz Vectar.

The Viz Arc IP-based system allows users to drive AR graphics and virtual sets from one interface, allowing for AR elements to be set up on a location map or a studio floor plan.

The Viz Arc integrates with Vizrt’s product portfolio including the virtual studio and tracking hub.

The Viz Arc can also operate multiple Viz engines simultaneously, with direct access to Viz Arist templates and third-party integrations including Unreal Engine 4.

Viz Verdi, a software-defined automation platform, allows users to repurpose live programming for social media and online outlets, designed to pave the way for a transition to an IP-based production environment and allow for the simultaneous production of live content in multiple aspect ratios.

The Viz Vectar live production switcher platform features four built-in DDRs, built-in recording and social media streaming for delivery to multiple screens.

The Viz Vectar supports Viz Mosart automation and controls graphics in Viz Engine.
The threshold of sources on air is reduced by natively running an NDI protocol to a variety of Vizrt products, with support for SDI and SMPTE ST 2110 inputs and outputs alongside four internal multiviewers, 44 inputs and eight M/Es.
