Delta and its brand Vivitek debuted a 4K DLP laser video wall system and launched a series of large venue projectors at InfoComm 2017.
The videowall system uses four UHD-4K cubes, a 4,000 lumen laser phosphor illumination source and Delta’s DVCS. Delta also launched a series of Vivitek large venue projectors, including the DU9800Z, and the Novo Connect systems.
True UHD-4K cubes were paired with Delta’s DVCS (Distributive Vision Control System) to create the videowall. The DVCS platform can manage multiple video sources on a single display, enlarge a single video signal to multiple displays or enable centralized control of several video walls. It is suited to critical applications, such as surveillance, disaster control and traffic supervision.
The cubes in the videowall have a 560mm-depth form factor, 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution and a 4,000 lumen laser phosphor illumination source. Built-in Intelli-Sense functions monitor the system and perform real-time adjustments for continuous operation. The video wall has IP6X protection rating and an optical sealed engine for up to 100,000 hours of operation.
DVCS (Distributive Vision Control System) is an IP-based control system and DVCS Gen. 3 can handle 4K resolution input and output with 60 frames per second (fps) performance. It can directly support H.264 and H.265 IP streams decoding, as well as PoE and IP KVM functionality.
The Vivitek large venue projectors have brightness levels ranging from 5,500 to 18,000 ANSI lumens and contrast ratios up to 20,000:1. The series has resolution options of WUXGA and UHD-4K, edge-blending and warping features, and range of optical lenses, depending on the model. They can achieve an HDBaseT digital transmission (audio and video) over 100m of Cat6 LAN cable. Some models also able to reach this standard using 3G-SDI coax cable over 100m, which is used in rental, staging and broadcasting applications.
Vivitek’s large venue projectors use a laser phosphor illumination source and are engineered with an optical sealed engine.
Models include the DU9800Z, DK8500Z, DU6690Z and DU4671Z that deliver 18,000, 7,500, 6,500 and 5,500 ANSI lumens respectively.
Vivitek’s new NovoConnect products, which include NovoEnterprise, NovoTouch, and NovoDS4K were also on stand.
