StarTech.com has released a new line of replacement SFP+ cables. They are designed for 10Gb Ethernet and Fiber Channel applications and are fully compatible with Cisco networking equipment.
The Cisco Compatible SFP+ Twinax Direct Attach Cables are available in 1-meter (Product ID: SFPCMM1M), 2-meter (Product ID: SFPCMM2M), 3-meter (Product ID: SFPCMM3M) and 5-meter (Product ID: SFPCMM5M) lengths.
The Cisco Compatible SFP+ 10-Gigabit Ethernet Cables feature 30AWG (for 1m and 2m) and 24 AWG(for the 5m) wire, with 100 Ohm impedance. There also is support for 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x fiber channel data rates, it is compliant with SFF 8431 connector standards and they have quick release latching SFP+ connectors.
