SpinetiX and Axis integrate live video with digital signage

SpinetiX has announced the integration of live video with its digital signage offerings in collaboration with Axis Communications.

SpinetiX and Axis Communications can now provide digital screens in shops with live video and real-time information based on its location in the store.

The streaming system is designed for the public view monitor or confrontation screen found at a shop entrance. With Axis network cameras with SpinetiX HMP players, this screen can be used an interactive welcome screen with the capability to display live video, images and graphs of any size, as well as play audio. The HMP player receives the live stream directly from the door- or entrance-facing network-camera and sends it to the welcome screen, with no need for a PC or extra cabling.

The system can also be used with Axis event triggering to allow the HMP player to react in real-time to incoming event information and alter screen content based on a pre-defined shop scenario (e.g. the tenth visitor to a store can receive a prize, triggered by the connected people counter).

The HMP player can be integrated into any existing architecture, and is scalable to any number of screens or stores.
