Sennheiser releases EW-DX microphone systems

Sennheiser’s EW-DX radio microphone systems are now shipping, designed for corporate and education environments.

The full system includes handheld, bodypack and table stand transmitters, with two two-channel receiver versions available in a half 19-in rack space either with or without Dante. A four-channel Dante-enabled receiver is also available in a full 19-in format.

The range consists of the EW-DX EM2 two-channel digital half-rack reciver, the EW-DX SK bodypack transmitter, the EW-DX SKM handheld transmitter, the EW-DX SKM-S handheld transmitter with programmable mute switch and the EW-D power distribution cable.

Additional products in the EW-DX range will launch from mid-2023.

The EW-DX handheld and bodypack transmitters feature e-ink displays, enabling users to still read essential device data when the transmitter is switched off.

With an operating time of 12 hours, both models of transmitters include in-device charging contacts and can be sued with the optional BA 70 rechargeable battery pack.

Control Cockpit compatibility

To coincide with the launch, Sennheiser has also released an updated version of the Sennheiser Control Cockpit software this week, version 6.0.0, which is now compatible with EW-DX for monitoring, control and firmware updates on EW-DX devices.
