Renkus Heinz has announced compatibility between its Iconyx Digitally Steerable Arrays and Crestron Remote Controllers.
For a long time, all Iconyx systems have been equipped with an RS485 external connector for data communication. Now this data port will enable users to implement control and monitoring via third party controllers such as those made by Crestron.
The company hopes open third party control protocol will bolster flexibility for the product’s user interface.
