QSC has announced the release of the Attero Tech Synapse D32Mi networked audio interface alongside the release of a supporting update to its unify control panel software.
The Synapse D32Mi is the latest model in the Synapse 1U rack-mount network audio interface series, including 32 mic/line analogue inputs with microphone preamps and Dante/AES67 connectivity.
The D32Mi includes up to 24-bit, 96 kHz analogue-to-Dante conversion, with the inputs available as either terminal blocks or DB25 connections.
The networked audio interface can also integrate with the Q-SYS ecosystem via its control plugin, with additional features including front panel and networked control of mic preamp gain, phantom power and muting.
Front panel headphone volume control is assignable alongside source selection enabling local input and Dante confidence monitoring at the rack position.
Redundant SFP expansion ports are included, enabling fibre connectivity for long-range signal extension, combining with a fully redundant Dante interface.
The D32Mi can be interfaced to an additional Synapse series I/O device to create a digital snake solution without the need for additional switches.
The release of the D32Mi comes amid the launch of unIFY v3. 4.0 control panel software, adding monitoring, device configuration and firmware upgrade capabilities for the Synapse D32Mi and Axon C1 third party mode configuration.
