Projecta has announced its plans to launch an ambient light rejecting (ALR) surface projection surface, the Paralla Stratos 1.0 which allows for the design of ALR screens up to 488cm in height with tensioned electric and fixed frame options being available.
The Parallax Stratos is an ALR surface that rejects up to 80% of ambient light with 1.0 grain for standard throw projectors (1.0:1 minimum throw).
The surface is a contrast based ALR surface, with the grey colour of the surface and other proprietary design elements intended to combine to absorb ambient light rather than reflect it to maintain and enhance image brightness.
The screen surface is also available in Projecta tensioned electric and fixed frame versions.
