PPDS unveils updated Philips X-Line UHD videowall

PPDS has unveiled its new and improved range of Philips X-Line UHD videowall displays, designed for retail, corporate and control room settings.

The X-Line series is comprised of six new direct LED backlight models available in a variety of sizes. Each model features near bezel-less designs from 0.9mm to 3.5mm, equipped with a range of new features and functionalities to support specific settings such as retail, corporate and control room environments.

Each display incorporates full HD/UHD video content, with the X-Line 49-in BDL2105X/00 and 55-in BDL2105X/OO designed for retail environments requiring 24/7 visual experiences.

500 cd/m² brightness is provided with a finishing haze of 3pc as well as support for PPDS’ Pure Colour Pro software which delivers higher luminance through hcustom colour temperature settings and improved gamma calibration.

The 55-in BDL3207X/00 (3.5mm belzel), 55-in BDL4107X/00 (1.78m mbezel) and the 55-in BDL8007X/00 (0.99mm bezel variants) are designed for use in corporate environments such as meeting rooms, boardrooms, lobbies and public spaces.

700 cd/m² high brightness is provided, capable of supporting static or dynamic content. The displays are pre-calibrated, designed to make small fonts used on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations readable on a larger scale without blur or cloud impacting the viewing experience.

The BDL8007X/00 also includes an automatic backlight control, designed to reduce running costs for a lower cost of ownership.

A new 65-in model variant, the BDL6005X/00, is also available for the control rooms and video surveillance markets, featuring a 4K display (3840 x 2160) and 24/7 operation capabilities.

The 65-in model can be fully customised to suit the needs of customers and can also show content from multiple sources in real-time with UHD picture quality.

The BDL6005X/00 also features 500 cdm/m² brightness to enable content with small lettering and numbers to appear legible.
