Powersoft will unveil its amplifier platform at CEDIA Expo 2019, demonstrating the new line of eight amplifier models housed in a half-rack enclosure, capable of being operated and monitored remotely.
The amplifiers consist of four power sizes, each offering an option of A (analogue) or AD (analogue-digital), which adds Dante/AES67.
The power sizes also include smaller options of 320W in 4x80W and 2x160W variants with a larger option of 600W in 4x150 or 2x300W, with all eight models capable of being networkable, featuring automatic setup for audio parameters.
Load monitoring is also included, allowing for users to monitor a variety of system parameters including temperature, power usage and performance over time.
The parameters can be monitored and controlled via Powersoft’s ArmoniaPlus system manager, through an external control system or a plug-in in a DSP matrix platform.
The AD models include Dante and AES67 integration with an internal Gigabit Ethernet switch and a second port for multiple products to share the same network cable.
Power sharing capabilities are also included, with the 320W power sized models able to deliver 80/160W per channel into two, four, eight of 16 ohms as well as 100, 70 or 25V.
The 600W power sized models can deliver 4x150W or 2x300W, capable of driving two 16 Ohm as well as 25, 70 or 100V.
Each unit features rack mount accessories to fit two units into a standard 19-in rack or one unit in a 11-in compact rack, with the unit able to stand alone on rubber feet or wall mounted.
