Polycom has unveiled RealPresence Mobile, an enterprise HD video software solution for tablets, currently available on Apple iPad 2, Motorola XOOM, and Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1
The solution is powered by Polycom’s RealPresence Platform and is designed to provide management, system interoperability, firewall traversal, and scalability.
The RealPresence Platform can support up to 75,000 devices and 25,000 concurrent sessions as well as resiliency and universal bridging to support both on-premises and cloud-based delivery.
Multiple platforms are supported so users can choose favoured devices. Polycom also claims the user interface is intuitive with touch control and the ability to simultaneously view content shared from other participants.
