Panasonic is targeting the digital signage market with a new range of lightweight LCD displays.
The first models available in the LCD series are 42” and 47” full HD displays. The models are 101mm thick with an 18mm bezel. The screens offer a brightness of 700cd/m² and an IPS panel for wide viewing angles.
A fanless design is claimed to eliminate dust build-up and lowers operating noise. Power consumption can also be controlled automatically as built-in sensors detect ambient lighting and automatically adjust the backlight brightness to match the viewing environment.
