PALME highlights pro-audio support ahead of Dubai show

PALME Middle East has revealed details of pro-audio systems set to be unveiled at the Dubai show that opens May 1, 2012.

The Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DICEC) will see regional launches from Bose, Meyer Sound and Tannoy during the three-day show.

Richard Brook, show director of PALME, says: "With the market now expanding beyond Dubai, the GCC countries offer enormous potential for high premium installed sound, which is clearly being recognised by these companies and other global pro audio providers."

Mark Flanagan, communications director of Tannoy, adds: "Despite the growth in areas such as Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, Dubai remains the commercial business hub for the region, and the Middle East represents a significant part of Tannoy’s turnover."

This year Tannoy will be formally joined for the first time by sister brands in the TC Group, Lab.gruppen and Lake.

The event marks the first time Tannoy has shown its VLS passive column range in the region and TC Group will take the opportunity to introduce its new Applications Engineering and Training group to the Middle East market.
