Optimal Audio updates WebApp and Zone firmware

Optimal Audio has announced an update to its WebApp and Zone firmware, aimed at simplifying set up and operation of its commercial eco-system.

The WebApp now allows users to hide unused zones to create an organised interfaced, enabling the ability within each zone settings page to hide sources from the selection list and the microphone volume controls. These features enable users to present exclusively with the zone name and volume control.

To assist navigation and triggering of presets, a launch icon is now labelled. The preset list view can be re-ordered in edit mode, creating an organised list of the available presets.

The installer page also includes a new metering view, including all meters in the DSP for viewing system signal flow in one location.

Support for UDP and TCP control of zone parameters is included, with a collection of design files for TouchOSC to give examples of every parameter and status.

For Zone audio controllers, an extra three-band EQ works with speaker-tuning presets, available to installers on every outputs.
