onemedia has launched its Social App for delivering real-time tweets to digital signage and video walls.
The app allows operators to display visualised tweets on platform independent digital screens. The platform offers search capability for hashtags, phrases or user-accounts.
Tweets can be moderated via an automatic or custom-made blacklist, or tweet-by-tweet moderation.
The App is designed to automatically resize to fit regardless of screen size, orientation or aspect ratio. Users can choose from a selection of animation styles and transitions to display tweets and photos. They can also create their own, or choose from selection of preset colour schemes to suit a brand’s colour scheme.
The Social App can support multiple Twitter account connections for different accounts.
“We have worked hard to enhance the previous offering by including tweet, timeline or hashtag search display, custom design and animation options, responsive scaling for any screen size and moderation capability. We are now looking to integrate other social media platforms such as Instagram to provide users with a powerful social media solution for digital signage,” said Tyson Reed, creative services director at onemedia.
