New HDMI over fibre extender from Kramer  - VIDEO

Kramer has launched the new 670T and 670R fibre optic transmitter / receiver pair for HDMI signals.

With a maximum data rate of 3.4Gbps, the units are HDTV compatible, HDCP compliant and support 3D pass-through and EDID pass-through as well as a variety of HDMI features.

The units transmit four TMDS video channels as well as one low-speed channel for HDCP, EDID and HPD signals over a one multimode fibre.
