NEC Display Solutions Europe announced two laser-based additions to its PA Series of LCD projectors, in the PA803UL and PA653UL units.
Designed with minimal maintenance in mind, the two laser projectors feature a fully-sealed optical engine, allowing brightness levels to remain high and consistent without risk of dust-based ingress and image degradation.
Other features include 8,000 lumens of brightness from the PA803UL, 6,500 lumens from the PA653UL. The projectors also feature motorised zoom and focus, interchangeable lens options, WUXGA resolution support, 4K60Hz image signal processing and Rec2020 colour conversion.
The new PA653UL laser projector will be available in April 2017 and the PA803UL laser projector model will follow with availability in August 2017.
