NEC has extended its Series 2 range of digital cinema projectors with the NC1200C. The company says it has a brightness of 9,000 lumens.

The model complements the NC2000C and NC3200S, which boast 17,000 and 31,000 lumens respectively.

The new models are suited for screen sizes up to 14, 20 and 32-metres. NEC claims the projectors fully exploit the 2K resolution of the Texas Instruments DLP chipset in triple flash 3D.
