MultiTouch has opened its Cornerstone software development kit (SDK) development platform for free usage and third-party hardware.
The manufacturer revealed that its Cornerstone 2 SDK for multitouch displays will be available free of charge and supports hardware platforms other than its own MultiTaction Cell product line.
This version also more tools to build interactive applications with added support for development with Javascript, in addition to traditional C++.
Cornerstone 2 scales from single displays to 50 Megapixel walls with up to 50% performance increase compared to previous versions.
