Mitsubishi ships 7000 series projectors in Europe

Mitsubishi Electric is now shipping the full range of its 7000 Series projectors in Europe. The units are designed for large meeting rooms, lecture theatres, rental and digital signage.

The 7000 series projectors are available in three resolutions, the XL7100U / XL7000U (1024 x 768 pixel XGA), WL7200U / WL7050U (1280 x 800 pixel WXGA) and UL7400U (1920x1200 pixel WUXGA).

Units are based around an inorganic liquid crystal panel and offer a light output of up to 6000 Lumens at 2000:1 contrast ratio as well as lamp life of up to 4,000 hours and less than 0.3W power consumption in standby mode.

A Dynamic Contrast Correction feature analyses the dynamic range of the input signal and automatically makes contrast corrections in real-time. The advanced Super Resolution image processing algorithm dynamically interpolates missing data from the source material for greatly improved clarity. Units also include Mitsubishi’s Natural Colour Matrix.

A high-performance, ultra-low dispersion ED lens offers greater light transmission efficiency than standard glass lenses and improved optical accuracy across the entire image. The wide-area lens adjustment (lens shift) range of 7000 Series projectors is up to 70 degrees vertically and 30 degrees horizontally. A number of lens options are available and one-touch bayonet-mount fittings make lens changes quick and easy.

The enclosure has a paint-free chassis, built-in cable management and 30dB fan noise. An auto-advance air filter cartridge keeps the LCD panel free of dust. All 7000 Series projectors come with full network connectivity and are compatible with Crestron RoomView, AMX Device Discovery and PJ Link protocols.
