Meyer Sound debuts Ashby ceiling speakers

Meyer Sound will debut its Ashby ceiling loudspeakers in Europe at ISE 2018 when it exhibits on stand 1-M90.

The Ashby line features IntelligentDC technology and will be shown in a static display and used above the company’s hospitality area.

Leo line array systems [pictured right] will also be shown, with the Lina compact line arrayMeyer Sound Leo family set up in multiple configurations. The UltraSeries of point-source loudspeakers will be on display in a range of custom colours. Meyer Sound will also focus on the beam-forming CAL column array loudspeaker and the AVB-enabled Galileo Galaxy network platform.

The Bluehorn System, Meyer Sound’s newest studio monitor, will be shown. The high-power loudspeaker system achieves absolute phase accuracy across the full audio bandwidth. 

Meyer Sound’s Richard Bugg will co-host a session on “The Evolution of Networks for Ethernet and IP for Audio, Video and Beyond” as part of the AVIXA Professional Development Programme on February 9. Bob McCarthy, director of system optimisation at Meyer Sound, will lead a session on “Real-World Loudspeaker Beamforming”.

Meyer Sound’s Lina compact line array has also been nominated in the Technology for Entertainment/Live Events category at the 2018 InAVation Awards
