The Digital Audio Extender from LINDY Electronics allows optical digital and coaxial audio signals to be transmitted up to 150m away using standard Cat5/6 cables.
Its simple plug and play installation is easy to set up and there is a choice of power by USB or mains supply. With a data transmission rate of 16Mps and sample rates from 32-96kHz, the extender can cope with multi-channel audio including Dolby Digital, DTS and 7.1, as well as stereo. The extenders operate in temperatures from zero to forty-five degrees centigrade and can be stored at as low as minus twenty.
