Kramer launches AV over IP system

Kramer Electronics is targeting IT environments with a system for AV over IP that is showing on stand 1-F20.

The system enables any video source (up to 4K60 4:2:0) to be captured, managed and distributed to any number of displays from a single point on the network.

Video sources are captured with Kramer KDS-EN6 encoders, managed by Kramer Network and distributed by Kramer KDS-DEC6 decoders.

Kramer Network is a software-based AV over IP enterprise management solution that gives IT system administrators centralised or distributed control of IP streams, room environments and any AV device from any single point on the network. The solution is installed on standard or virtual IT servers.

The system will offer cloud recording and streaming. Users will be able to record, stream, manage, and distribute content video conferencing, Skype for Business, WebRTC, and video conference endpoints.

ISE is held February 7 to 10, 2017 at the Amsterdam RAI.
