HoverCam launches digital teaching station

Hovercam has released its Pilot X digital teaching station, allowing teachers to interact with and share content to displays in classroom environments without computers or displays.

The Pilot X uses a 13-in, 10-point touch tablet computer with an Intel CPU, wireless 4K presentation capabilities, a microphone and a fold-out HoverCam 4K 13MP document camera.

A built-in wireless HDMI transmitter is included, capable of beaming content to interactive flat panels, projectors or displays in resolutions up to 4K.

The digital teaching station also runs HoverCam’s ClassFusion software, allowing for interactive whiteboarding and annotation for lesson recording. Notes, annotations, video and audio of lessons are captured in real time for students to access remotely from learning devices.
