Lighthouse Technologies says it can provide true HD image reproduction with its HDMI Integrated LED Processor. The LIP-HD is claimed to simplify connectivity and expand the potential for LED display solutions.
The processor allows HDTV, HD camcorder, Blu-ray player, or other HD device to be conveniently linked to an LED display. With support for 1080p full HD resolution and enhanced 12-bit deep colour depth, the LIP-HD processor allows for larger displays with ultra-deep colour in both indoor and outdoor applications. Certified to meet the HDMI 1.3 standards for the deepest colour reproduction, the processor is HDCP compatible, allowing users to play video that requires this standard. It is also able to receive and transmit video at a variety of resolutions from VGA (640x480) up to the 1080p Full HD standard.
Compatible with existing Lighthouse panels, the processor features input selection between DVI and HDMI sources. It offers colour temperature adjustment and eight levels of gamma control including linear. It has 96 levels of brightness control, individual LED panel control adjustment, 2 banks for colour uniformity, an RS232 port and Ethernet PC control channels.
