Harman unveiled a range of twisted pair and fibre I/O boards, transmitters and receivers as well as the Enova DVX presentation switchers with 4K60 4:4:4 video support at the show.
AMX 4K60 4:4:4 twisted pair and fibre I/O boards
The AMX DGX 4K60 input and output boards, transmitters and receivers allow users to distribute full 4K60 4:4:4 video end-to-end over long distances, with a line of eight new products including the AMX DXLink 4K60 HDMI transmitters and receivers as well as AMX Enova DGX 4K60 input and output boards, available as either twisted pair or fibre variants.
The twisted pair models (DX-TX-4K60 HDMI transmitter module, DX-RX-4K60 HDMI receiver module, DGX-I-DXL-4K60 input board and the DGX-O-DXL-4K60 output board) are designed for cable runs of 100 metres or less, with the new range being compatible with the Enova DGX 100 series enclosures to upgrade systems without a new system architecture.
The fibre models, comprised of the DXFP-RX-4K60 HDMI receiver module, DXFP-TX-4K60 transmitter module, DGX-I-DXFP-4K60 input board and the DGX-0-DXFP-4K60 are scheduled for a future launch.
Enova DVX presentation switchers
The AMX Enova DVX presentation switchers with 4K60 4:4:4 video support were shown, with two new DVX presentation switchers featuring full 4K60 4:4:4 video support, Harman audio and I/O options.
The AMX Enova DVX presentation switchers feature a Crown DriveCore amplifier and BSS audio signal processing in addition to Dante AES67 support, with both the 8x4+2 DVX-3266-4K and 6x2+1 DVX-2265-4K presentation switchers being compatible with the DXLink 4K60 transmitters and receivers, enabling the distribution of full 4K60 4:4:4 over distances.
The DVX switchers are also compatible with DXLink 4K60 transmitters and receivers, with the DVX presentation switchers enabling 4K60 4:4:4 video distribution up to 100 metres using a standard category cable.
HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 support is included, in addition to six microphone inputs and DXLink ports which support video, USB 2.0, audio, network, power and control over one cable.
DXLink inputs and outputs on the DVX models are compatible with HDBaseT devices such as cameras and projectors, allowing direct connections without additional equipment.
