The Makito X2, a dual channel HD-SDI H.264 encoder is the first product from Haivision to incorporate the new X Series technology. It can encode up to 12 HD (1080p@60Hz) sources to H.264 within a single rack unit of space.
The X2 supports High Profile H.264 compresion, with 55-millisecond encoding latency. It also supports multiple bitrate streaming with up to four renditions of each input from 32 Kbps to 25 Mbps at 1080p60.
