Sony launched four Bravia BZ40H professional displays to target business, corporate and educational environments.
The 4K displays range from 55 to 85-in with full array LED that improves contrast by boosting backlighting for light areas, and can create peaks of brightness measuring 850 cd/m². Units have aluminium bezels with the logo on the side and can be installed in portrait or landscape orientation.
Bravia BZ40H displays have 16:9 4K resolution, Sony’s 4K X1 Processor and X-Balanced speakers. They are available in 55, 65, 75 and 85-in sizes.
All Bravia professional displays are natively compatible with Sony Teos solutions for workplace management, featuring functions such as customisable automation options, new meeting display interface and Outlook integration, as well as signage, mirroring, wayfinding and meeting room management. With Teos, Sony has also created Covid-19 related signage templates and a range of workflows for flexible working and social distancing. Bravia professional displays are natively compatible with partners, including Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Logitech and Control 4.
A software platform uses the built-in CPU/GPU and video decoder. Functions such as automatic boot display and signal source switching can be handled without remote control or external devices.
An Android OS platform is built in to offer an upgraded interface and simplified operation for commercial customers. It supports Chromecast and Airplay 2 for connectivity to mobile devices.
Wireless connectivity supporting 5GHz, in addition to 2.4GHz and Wireless Access Point (WAP) is offered. An internal WAP is enabled within the software.
The BZ40H series can be used in meeting rooms, public and retail spaces, digital signage, smart classrooms and healthcare institutions. The professional displays integrate with Sony AV products, cameras and monitors.
