Electro-voice has launched the new Dx46 FIR-Drive sound system processor. It combines ease of use and flexibility with EV’s FIR-Drive technology.
Previously FIR-Drive was only available in EV’s n8000 system controllers and RCM-26 module-equipped Tour Grade series amplifiers. It employs finite impulse response filters and processing to provide linear phase performance for sonic clarity and improved pattern control.
Dx46 brings FIR-Drive to a new, more compact form factor at a more cost effective price point that makes it accessible to a wider range of applications. It features both analogue and digital AES/EBU inputs and a full loudspeaker protection package.
