DVIGear has updated its DisplayNet software, launching its 3.1 update which includes a new scripting engine for code-free system programming.
The update includes enhancements to DisplayNet’s EDID management functionality, as well as two kinds of recallable presets: scripts and snapshots.
Snapshots capture the status of an entire system for one-click restoration of system configurations, while scripts store sequences of specific commands that can be recalled on-demand.
Scripts can also be recorded from sequences of actions performed in DisplayNet manager and edited manually when required, allowing complex sequences of API commands to be created and run without editing code.
Users can change the active EDID on a transmitter directly from the device configuration panel.
