disguise debuts flagship vx4+ media server

disguise has launched its vx4+, designed for large, technically demanding productions, installations and shows.

The vx4+ features up to 100GbE in bandwidth for higher resolution video, ramping up storage performance and video quality throughout.

The media server works with disguise VDC cards, rx render nodes and preconfigured netwok switch fabric, with two 100GbE network prts and 12G video capture as standard. These features enable the vx4+ to be used for 4K XR compositing alongside a cluster of rx render nodes.

The integration of a PCI-Express 4.0 motherboard, CPU, GPU and RAID storage allows for improved performance with video playback and compositing.

The vx4+ is also compatible with disguise’s video format conversion (VFC) cards which are due for release in the second half of 2022.
