Disguise has debuted new features for its XR software, adding a new integration for the Unreal engine and new features for XR and virtual production.
ACES colour management has been introduced, alongside DirectX12 and deep learning super sampling (DLSS) support from Nvidia, allowing users to deliver images via 10-bit HDR processing of Unreal content via disguise’s RenderStream IP protocol.
Disguise has also unveiled a pipeline that supports Unreal engine running Nvidia’s DLSS technology, enabling content to be rendered at a lower resolution then up-sampled using a deep learning model to reconstruct the image at a higher resolution.
DirectX12 support has been included for Unreal engine, adding rendering features such as ray tracing to allow users to capture reflections, refractions and shadows in high resolution.
