Datavideo has announced that it has joined the Shure camera partner program, bringing Shure’s audio technologies together with Datavideo’s camera and tracking systems.
Under this partnership, both Shure and Datavideo will closely integrate Shure’s array architecture and IntelliMix digital signal processing with Datavideo’s AI-enabled cameras and video switchers for use in broadcast environments.
Both systems enable synchronised voice triggered camera tracking, simplifying the installation process, and introducing intelligent production workflows.
Both companies will work together to achieve interoperability with the Shure Microflex Advance microphones including the MXA920 ceiling array microphone, the MXA901 conferencing ceiling array microphone, and Datavideo’s PTZ, auto-tracking, voice tracking, and multi-camera production systems. This combined system will allow integrators to create automated voice-tracking setups with cameras that follow active speakers or switch between preset shots based on audio cues.
Julie Crawford, associate director, strategic alliances, Shure, commented: “The Shure Camera Partner Program is designed to ensure that audio and video work together as a validated, reliable solution for modern collaboration spaces.
“Our collaboration with Datavideo reflects that commitment bringing together Shure’s Microflex® ecosystem with intelligent camera systems to deliver tested, voice-driven video experiences that are easy to deploy, scale, and trust across hybrid meeting environments.”
