Datapath upgrades Wallcontrol 10 with web interface and KVM control

Datapath has added web-interface capability and a KVM control function for connected PCs with v1.9 of its Wallcontrol 10 video management software.

The latest version of WallControl 10 allows for browser-based control of a videowall for the first time and automatically scales to any PC, tablet or smartphone. Users are now able to discover and connect to available walls on a server and open and close layout files with a single click. Videowalls can also be made to be managed on an IP network or not.

WallControl 10 v1.9 offers the ability to control keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) to source. Using Datapath Agent software, a host of unmanned source PCs delivering content can now be accessed from a WallControl 10 client on the same network, allowing AV and/or IT operators the ability to control and manipulate sources from their workstations.

Datapath has also added new features to the latest WallControl 10 on-board browser.  Users can now set an auto-update that forces websites to refresh at designated intervals.

Datapath’s latest WallControl 10 developments will be demonstrated for the first time at the Midwich Technology Exposed event at Ascot Racecourse, UK on September 11 and 12. The software will also be shown at InfoComm India in Mumbai the following week.
