Audinate has announced the release of version 1.1 of its Dante Via audio networking software.
The upgraded software supports up to 16x16 channels per application and up to 32x32 for each connected device.
The software also has support for ASIO-connected devices on Windows PCs and Device Lock protection (preventing unwanted changes from other network uses). Its enhanced Mixer panel now allows for level adjustments of multiple sources that are combined at stereo destinations.
The append channels feature automatically assigned sources to available channels when connecting to multichannel destinations for routing to DAWs and mixers.
The update can be obtained for free by existing users via the software.
