BrightSign has updated its BSN.cloud software with workflow updates, focusing on improving player set-up, player control and remote management.
BSN.cloud includes a free subscription to the Control Cloud, allowing users to customise player set-up with a list of partner CMS providers. Support for BrightSign Mobile is now included, with support for WPA Enterprise/802.1x, multi-network port redundancy/prioritisation, streamlined single set-up for custom configurations with partner CMS’ as well as tagged VLAN support.
Real-time player control via BSN.cloud enables users to view and monitor media player health in real time, including player diagnostics and controls. Administrators can take remote snapshots of content playing on-screen and remotely perform player reboots and BrightSign OS updates. Additionally, real-time reporting of player network health in a 24-hour period has been added, alongside the ability to assess SD card health in real time.
Real-time edits to player properties can also be made, such as network settings, interface priority and data rate limiting.
Auto-discovery and configuration of network interfaces is also available, alongside automatic rollback to a valid network configuration.
