Bose has unveiled its Videobar VB1, a USB conferencing device featuring six beam-steering microphones to focus on voices in the room and filtering out background noise.
The VB1 includes transducers which reproduce audio from multimedia presentations, play Bluetooth audio and allow voices to be heard with clarity.
A 4K ultra-HD camera is included with autoframing to allow remote participants to see presenters, whiteboards and other in-room objects.
The VB1 can be connected by one USB cable, removing the need for separate audio and video cables, with the VB1 able to be mounted via an included or table stand or via a wall-mount kit. All mounting options allow for tilt capability.
The Videobar VB1 is also Microsoft Teams certified, connecting to existing network infrastructure, capable of integrating with third-party cloud services including Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and more.
Remote management and configuration capabilities are also available to deploy and manage a VB1 unit or up to one thousand installed in global conference rooms.
