Black Box announced the In-Session meeting room booking system, including touch panel display, at ISE 2017.
Room scheduling can be managed via a touch panel display mounted outside the conference room. In-Session works with Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange Server and G-Suite (Google Apps for Work.) The interface displays the current meeting, meeting details and a room calendar. Red and green LEDs on the sides of the touch panel indicate whether the room is occupied.
The system supports meeting confirmation and functionality to make requests for room catering, cleaning and technical support. It integrates with ControlBridge for room automation.
It is scalable with touch panels connected via an Ethernet network. It is designed for lecture halls, auditoriums, conference and boardrooms, classrooms and other meeting places.
In-Session does not require programming, mounts directly on the wall or in the wall and is PoE powered. Users can choose models with either a 7-in or 12-in screen.
