Barco has bolstered the LED engine on a new line of LED-lit, DLP based video walls. It claims the OVL range reaches a high brightness level with no impact on lifetime.
The OVL videowall range is offered in 4:3 ratio, with screen sizes up to 80”.
A heat management system, based on liquid cooling technology brings the LED temperature down to an optimal level. This results in a longer lifetime of a projection system, amounting to 80,000 hours of continuous operation in eco-mode.
Barco also says the vidoewall solution can cut energy consumption by basing its colour and brightness adjustment on smart power management, not on optical dimming.
The OVL range includes an 80” video wall system with seamless screens.
