AOpen announced the release of its Express Cast product line, an entry level Android based media player range including web based CMS.
The Express Cast SDE53 is a Web-based digital signage media player box that leverages the power of Android architecture. The system has a small form factor of 166mm (w) x 23mm (h) x 91mm (d) that is compatible with the AOpen Digital Engine mounting solutions and peripherals. Retailers will be able to use asset tags and GPS location technology to distribute specific content to specific players throughout a retail network. RSS feeds and other websites can be integrated onto the display to provide important information in an attractive manner.
