AMX has debuted its CE series universal control extenders, designed to expand control to third-party devices.
The CE range includes four models, including the CE-IO4 with four I/O ports, the CE-IRS4 with four IR/S ports, CE-REL8 with eight relays and CE-COM2 with two serial ports.
The series includes an open control API to integrate CE extenders with any IP control system or app, with an integrated web interface to enable configuration without specialised applications.
Harman’s HControl protocol is included to enable auto-discovery by next-generation AMX control processors and other Harman products. PoE power is also available.
