Altinex has introduced the VP500-102 universal digital scalar for scaling HDMI sources-HDTV or PC resolution-to an alternative HDMI resolution (HDTV or PC).
The device is HDMI and HDCP compliant and an on-screen display is provided for configuration.
It can be used to convert and integrate HD resolution output to PC systems, convert and integrate PC resolution output to HD systems, downscale full HD (1080p) resolution output for HD-ready displays and scale 24 fps Blu-ray input to standard 1080p signal.
The unit measures 6†by 2.7†by 0.9†and will upscale the video signal from an HDMI source up to 1080p @ 50/60 Hz.
