Altia Systems will launch its first intelligent panoramic video device with three 13 megapixel cameras.
The Panacast 3 is integrated with stereo microphones and three 13 megapixel cameras, which can be mounted on digital displays or walls with available mounting hardware.
The device features USB-C connections to connect to compatible devices or displays and is compatible with Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Slack, Google Hangouts and GoToMeeting.
Two omnidirectional microphones are featured as well as a multi-sensor AI array capable of detecting people in the room.
The AI software uses a convolutional neural network (CNN) to count the number of people on camera, up to 40 feet away, providing searchable data which can be used to inform decisions on calendar management, room utilisation and resource management, as well as automating facility assets such as TV monitors, lights and videoconferencing equipment.
The Panacast3 delivers 180 degree field of view in panoramic 4K resolution, with lossless zoom up to 6x and real time video stitching 18-in from the camera.
Intelligent Zoom comes standard with the Panacast3, autonomously adjusting the field of view to include each participant in a conversation and also comes with Panacast API, enabling developers and partners to query the system for information such as people count data.
ISE 2019 will run at the RAI Amsterdam from 5 February 2019 to 8 February 2019.
