Alcons has announced the CSS3, a two-way, ultra-compact surround loudspeaker designed to meet the requirements of current and future digital cinema content.
It features a 1” soft-dome tweeter with a single 6.5” woofer, which deliver dynamic, uncoloured sound reproduction. The system voicing is matched with Alcons’ pro-ribbon cinema sound systems.
A 15’ slanted baffle together with the wide horizontal dispersion caters for an ultra-smooth LF/HF blending in installations where the surrounds are mounted closely to the audience.
