A report found that Zoom AI Companion has beaten Microsoft Teams CoPilot in AI performance, including a lower Word Error Rate (WER), for the accuracy of transcripts used in meeting summaries.
Findings included Zoom's transcript quality delivers a higher level of transcription accuracy with a significantly lower (~4%) Word Error Rate compared to Teams.
Zoom also leads in meeting summary performance with a score of 81.35%, followed by Copilot at 80.75%, and Microsoft Teams (Intelligent Recap) with 78.63%. Accurate meeting summaries greatly impact notes and action items, leading to a better user experience.
In conversational AI testing, Zoom provided quicker responses during meetings (average delay of 4716.1 ms) in almost half the time of Microsoft Teams (9269.9 ms), which enables employees to get the answers they need to their questions as soon as possible.
