TiMax and Sonoshphere to create spatial studio London hub
TiMax Spatial Studios is opening its own studio space and HQ at the Tileyard, London, collaborating with Sonosphere to create a multi-purpose, immersive audio hub.

Designed to demonstrate, educate, promote and deliver immersive audio systems, workflow and content, the suite will offer a 26.4.6 TiMax mixing studio, with TiMax SoundHub and its spatial audio and show control capabilities.

TiMax Tracker D4 is installed with an eight sensor system, with TiMax panLab configured as a 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos studio.

Martin Audio FlexPoint loudspeakers are also used, with amplification via Linea Research 88C06 amplifiers with FlexPoint presets loaded.

Rik Kirby, commercial manager, TiMax commented, “Since TiMax has come under the wing of the Focusrite Group, we have been able to quickly grow and evolve. Our new London hub is the perfect manifestation of where TiMax is today. It coincides with a growing relationship with Sonosphere, demonstrated in the recent sell-out event, the Binaural Human, and we feel that our combined passion, skill and knowledge for spatial audio can help drive a thriving like-minded community.”
